Our first title, The Border Keep, has been added to DriveThruRPG’s Cozy Games Indie Gallery. The gallery begins tomorrow, and the title includes maps and descriptions of a small castle and its denizens and is meant to be used as a home for a group of PCs in any fantasy setting.
We also offer an accompanying map pack of the castle optimized for virtual tabletops.
In addition to creating the setting By a Thread, Arme Blanche Games is hard at work creating our first module, The Dwarf’s Demise. This scenario is designed for an outfit of 3-5 characters and comes complete with six pre-generated characters for ease of play. This module can be played in one session of roughly four hours.
In this scenario, the PCs are private investigators hired by the Brighton Police Department to solve the murder of one of the city’s elites, Rolf Undermountain, a dwarf who made a name for himself designing dirigibles. Rolf went to work on a Saturday, and his body was found that afternoon by his receptionist, Opal of the Evergreen Twelve, an elf. Who could the culprit be?
In this pulp mystery reminiscent of the radio teleplays of yore, PCs will get the chance to interact with some of the wealthiest members of Brighton society. Who would benefit the most from Rolf’s death? Will the PCs discover an even graver threat?
Recently, Arme Blanche Games became an officially licensed Ace with permission to create supplements for the Savage Worlds roleplaying game! We consider this a high honor, and it will also allow us to proceed with the development of our setting, which should be released in either Q1 or Q2 2022. It is currently in playtesting.
By a Thread will take players into a fantasy world wherein dwarves, elves, faeries, humans, and ogres are locked into perpetual war against hordes of goblins, orcs, and trolls. Imagine a world where a once-mighty nation and global empire has fallen into chaos resulting in industrial city-states trying feverishly to protect their people and maintain their standard of living. The setting takes place in the world of Aerodom and has technology reminiscent of Earth in the 1920’s. Travel by land is always dangerous, and so those who can afford to do so travel by dirigible. Even the cities themselves, though surrounded by trenches and with almost every able-bodied adult conscripted into service, can be dangerous due to infestation from goblins and their ilk.
It is a land crying out for heroes to make things right. Grab your revolver or your Tommy gun, and help to make things right.
